Wireless alarms communicate through radio frequency or infrared beams. When the system is armed, the sensors monitor the surrounding area for motion. When motion occurs the control unit triggers a signal to the monitoring company setting off the alarm. When the monitoring company gets the signal from the alarm system, the homeowner is contacted immediately.
Wireless alarm systems consist of wireless controllers and detectors, control panels wireless sirens, wireless modules and other options as well. This makes wireless alarm systems very flexible. Monitored alarm systems can flash lights, sound sirens, and alert the monitoring company when an intruder is detected.
